With an understanding and appreciation for the Museum’s mission and goals, the Manager of Marketing and Communications is responsible for planning and implementing an effective multi-year, multi-faceted marketing strategy.
Primary responsibilities include: developing, implementing, and managing all communications, advertising, publicity, and institutional marketing for Canterbury Shaker Village. The successful candidate will also oversee all group sales and rentals. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 7 to 10 years experience in marketing and communications.
Minimum BA degree and museum experience desirable. Success factors include excellent interpersonal and communications skills with proven success in achieving marketing goals; extensive writing experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Quickbooks Point of Sale.
