Franklin Pierce University is excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a new Director of University Relations and Creative Services. This position plays an important role in the branding and positioning of Franklin Pierce University in the media and online. The position is responsible for development and implementation of University relations and communications projects including print, Web, social media, video, photography and editorial production. This position also serves as a resource and advisor to campus constituencies and external partners seeking to promote the University. This position reports to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, masters preferred, with a minimum of seven years’ experience in public relations, publication and marketing, social media. Experience in higher education or a non-profit agency is preferred but not required. The candidate will have exceptional writing, editing skills, be self-directed and motivated and exhibit exceptional organizational abilities. The candidate will demonstrate a mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, design and publishing software and social media skills. The candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel for the university when required.
