Faculty Communications and Support Associate — SNHU

SNHU’s College of Online and Continuing Education is seeking a Faculty Communications and Support Associate for the Center for Online Learning and Teaching.

The Faculty Communications and Support Associate will collaborate with the Academic team to craft, coordinate, and deliver high-quality communications to our adjunct faculty, faculty leads, and team leads. Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Use independent judgment and discretion to create communications content and utilize best practices for impactful communications
  • Manage creation and scheduling for adjunct faculty communications, including systems issue communications
  • Seek opportunities to enhance dean-faculty communications and team lead-faculty communications
  • Manage channel selection, development and administration for faculty communications
  • Assist the Director of Communications to develop adjunct faculty communication plans for Academics initiatives
  • Integrate efforts with other departments within the Faculty Development group, and work together as a team
  • Measure and assess communication efforts
  • Oversee, develop and manage content for the Adjunct Faculty portal and Confluence
  • Manage communications calendar
  • Assist with CAO communications requests

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Please submit a communications writing sample with your application and resume
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field
  • Must have knowledge and experience in creating and executing communication plans and creating engaging, measurable and impactful communications content
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certifications are not required, though APR certification is a plus
  • Master’s in communications or related field
  • Teaching experience
