Description: New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR), a statewide radio network and highly respected content producer, is seeking a full-time Producer to work on our midday show Word of Mouth. This new midday show looks at new and emerging ideas from science and technology to health and the environment to new trends in culture and arts, on-air and on-line. The successful candidate will generate fresh ideas for segments, write scripts, conduct pre-interviews, post content to the website, engage in social media and produce unique, distinctive and outstanding content every day.

NHPR is a collaborative environment. The Producer will work with Host, Executive Producer, VP for Programming, New Media Director, Production Manager, volunteers, interns and contributors. NHPR’s new state-of-the-art facility is headquartered in Concord, NH. This is a fabulous opportunity for the right person.

Requirements:

• Requirements include BA in relevant field or equivalent experience;
• 2 years of radio producing experience, preferably in public broadcasting, interest in a variety of fields, excellent writing, editing and production skills and familiarity with digital editing;
• creativity, ability to take direction and a collaborative work style, multi-tasking skills and an ability to work autonomously
