Hear from one of the “verified stars” of sports social media content per Boston Magazine (October 2024). Kelsey Doherty is Senior Marketing Director for the Red Sox and a PRSA member formerly on the Board. She’ll share social media tips relevant to any industry, such as how she and her team amassed 30,000 views in 14 minutes in a silent, standalone clip on X and how the drive to attract a younger, more diverse fan base led to the Sox becoming the first MLB team on TikTok.
Diane Davis Beacon Award
Meet the 2024 recipient of the Chapter’s most prestigious honor, the Diane Davis Beacon Award. Adam Ritchie, APR, principal at Adam Ritchie Brand Direction, has been called “a true innovator, pioneering unique approaches” by PR Week and described as “elevating the PR discipline to new heights” by American Business Awards. In addition to running his eponymous agency for almost 18 years, Adam is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America and is the author of Invention in PR (Routledge 2022).
