Online Program – Boston Globe’s Business Editor Greg Huang

Our friends with PRSA Boston are hosting an hour-long lunch and learn conversation with Boston Globe’s Business Editor Greg Huang on Wednesday, February 3 from Noon to 1 p.m.

Greg is a veteran journalist who has covered a wide range of science, technology, and business. Huang joined the Globe in February 2020. Previously he was an editor and reporter at Xconomy, New Scientist, and MIT’s Technology Review. He was named a New York Times professional fellow in 2003.

Huang will share insights on how the Globe is adapting to the ever-changing nature of covering work and business. He will also answer your questions on tips and best practices for pitching business-related stories.

Greg is the co-author of “Guanxi” about Microsoft in China and the global competition for talent and technology. Before becoming a journalist, he did research at MIT’s Artificial Intelligence Lab. He has published 20 papers in scientific journals and conferences and spoken on innovation at Adobe, Amazon, eBay, Google, HP, Microsoft, Yahoo, and other organizations. He has a master’s and Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
