Cyber Crises Uncovered: Immersive Simulation & Expert Panel Insights

You’re invited to join PRSA Boston Chapter for a deep dive into deepfakes.

Participants will participate in a live cyber crisis simulation – “Deepfake of CEO” – to test their decision-making skills in real time. It really is a rare opportunity to learn by doing!

The panel portion of the event will be moderated by Nancy Sterling, APR, Fellow PRSA, PRSA Chapter co-president and a nationally recognized crisis strategist at ML Strategies. Nancy has led responses to major data breaches for some of the world’s largest institutions — and she’ll be sharing her insights on how to manage cyber crises and build organizational resilience.

 

Other panelists include:

  • John Petrozzelli, Director of MassCyberCenter,brings over two decades of national security and cybersecurity experience – from serving as a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer in Korea and Afghanistan, to playing a pivotal role in the Boston Marathon Bombing investigation as a Supervisory Intelligence Analyst with the FBI. He led the forensic review of digital evidence in the Tsarnaev case, helping build the digital case for trial.
  • Hannarae Lee is chair of Bridgewater State University’s Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Justice programand a respected voice in the intersection of cybersecurity, digital forensics, and criminal justice. Her work highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in understanding and responding to today’s complex digital threats.

 

This event is co-sponsored by Bridgewater State University’s College of Graduate Studies and College of Continuing Studies, which is launching a new MS in Cybersecurity and Justice this fall.
